You see, I've had this secret.
And I'm really bad at secrets.
So I just - laid low.
But the time has come for the big reveal.
Any guesses?
We're moving.
That's a lie. I love this place!
I got a job!
Nope, nothing happening with that either.
I'm nurturing my inner child.
Literally. I'm nurturing my inner child. Yes. This one is true.
That's right, folks. 5+1=6
Sam always has had a thing for even numbers.
Expect Shep #4 to debut sometime around March 6th, 2011.
Don't we need another one to help pull that rope behind Sarah?
I have been feeling great (Hallelujah!). We're so very excited. And as if there were any doubt, Ben is hoping for a boy. I'll take what God gives me. Thanks for celebrating in this blessing with me!

And just a farewell tip for those of you who tend to speak first and think later:
You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she's pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment. ~Dave Barry, "Things That It Took Me 50 Years to Learn"

I heard yesterday!!!! It was the hot topic at the Sunday lunch table at Mother's house, too. We're all so happy! I was trying to decide whether to haul up your most recent post and mention something in a clandestine sort of way or to send you a more private email this AM instead.
You solved the problem for me. I get to happy dance all over this comment form right out in the open.
I don't have the words to tell you how thrilled I am for you. You are wonderful parents, and in my heart I kept thinking that it was just *time* for Shep number 4.
Congratulations to you both! A certain Grammie I know is over the moon, and I can only imagine how her Maryland counterpart feels about it.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is sooooo exciting!!! Congratulations guys!! Our class can sure spit 'em out can't they?! I love it! So glad to hear you're feeling well too!
Yes, you were the hot topic at church yesterday, thanks to a certain Grammie. We could not be happier for the herd of Sheps. As Debbie already mentioned, I was trying to decide if I should spill the beans for you here, or wait for you. SOOOOO glad you made the decision for us!! Glad you're feeling well. It will certainly be fun to keep up with your progress here. BTW, was this on your list? I suppose it could be 102. Just sayin'...
You'll be happy to know, Laura says she can't wait to baby sit.
Congrats Jennie!
Oh, wonderful news, Jennie!!
Congratulations - and it's great to hear that you're feeling well. May God bless your entire family over the next several months as you prepare for another bundle of joy! Oh, I can't wait - boy or girl - quiet or rambunctious - blond or dark-haired - oooo, the speculations are fun!
Take care and GOD BLESS!
So excited for you, Jennie! And March 6th is Ryan's birthday, so I'm pretty sure that's a good day to have a baby. At least I think my MIL would agree. You and Sam make beautiful babies. I can't wait to see this new little pumpkin! What a wonderful blessing
No mom things? Good grief. We get that girl barefoot and pregnant and she becomes a complete shirker.
And I forgot to tell you how cute your kids look in that rope picture. They are like little stair steps.
Oh, I asked my vet once how far along she was, and what a mistake that was! Never again! - Joe Orton
